Dunn rushes for 10,000 yards

The 2007- 2008 NFL season saw Warrick Dunn break the 10,000 yard barrier. Only 22 players in NFL history have accomplished this. What makes the accomplishment extraordinary is that Dunn is a running back who stands 5’8” 182 lbs.  He is by far the lightest running back to accomplish this goal.  This is just one of the major accomplishments that Warrick has in his 11year NFL career.  He is also known for his humanitarian deeds.  His Holliday for Homes has given hope to many single parent mothers who work one or two jobs to raise thier children.  Coach Gayle Hatch says of Warrick, “He is a special athlete and a special man.  It has been an honor to be his personal strength coach for the last 16 years.  His dedication to his off season training program has been a major role in Warrick’s success.”
